Helikon-Tex Guardian Flap Magazine Pouch — Coyote

The Guardian Flap is a modular front panel designed for the Helikon-Tex Guardian plate carrier: it holds three rifle magazines in separate compartments and attaches to the vest via two buckles and a velcro system, turning the front of the carrier into a complete load-bearing platform without requiring additional pouches.

Each of the three compartments is sized for AR, AK47 and AK74 magazines, with retention provided by a shock cord and non-slip grips stitched at the top. The open-top elastic design allows fast one-handed draws and reinserts even under stress, but offers lower retention than a hard retention system: it is the right choice for those who prioritise operational speed on stable ground, and less suited to situations involving inverted positions or extended dynamic movement. The non-slip grips stitched into the lower corners of the flap make it easier to separate the panel cleanly from the carrier when removing it.

The outer surface of the Guardian Flap features a MOLLE/PALS grid across 6 columns by 3 rows, enough to add admin pouches, torches or other accessories without overloading the carrier. The side loops, also threaded with shock cord, allow tourniquets, glow sticks or other immediate-access equipment to be carried without using up slots on the main grid.
