Helikon-Tex Groundhog Backpack Nylon — Coyote

The Groundhog is a compact 10-litre pack measuring 23x46x9 cm and weighing 645 g empty, designed for day hikes, cycling and light everyday carry. Built from 100% ripstop nylon, it delivers a well-organised layout in a small footprint without giving up MOLLE compatibility or hydration bladder support.

The main compartment is large enough to hold a hydration bladder via the internal webbing hook, plus a change of clothing or additional gear. At the front, a zip-access expandable pocket with a vertical opening lets you reach frequently used items without opening the main body. On both sides you'll find zip pockets paired with mesh bottle holders secured by a compression strap: a reasonable trade-off between quick access and retention security that works well with standard bottles but does rely on the strap to prevent loss on rough ground.

The carry system uses narrow, padded and contoured shoulder straps with a 3D mesh back panel that reduces heat build-up during extended use. The padded and stiffened back panel shares the same 3D mesh construction. A minimal chest strap and waist belt improve stability without adding bulk. The foldable mesh beavertail lets you carry a helmet or wet clothing isolated from the rest of the contents. The two rows of MOLLE Lite on each side, using 15 mm webbing, allow attachment of additional pouches while keeping overall weight down thanks to the narrower webbing compared to full-width standard.
