HERA ARMS

The HERA ARMS CQR G2 is an angled foregrip made from fibreglass-reinforced polymer, weighing 170 g, designed for MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails at 20 mm. It targets dynamic shooters, operators and hunters looking for more natural muzzle control compared to a traditional vertical grip.

The angled geometry of the CQR G2 positions the wrist at an inclination that reduces muscle strain during extended sessions and promotes a consistent forward push toward the target. Compared to a vertical grip, the arm works in a more closed posture: the hold is less tiring, but it requires a shooting style compatible with this philosophy — those used to a purely vertical grip may need a few sessions to adapt before realising the ergonomic benefit.

The second generation introduces optimised finger grooves and a revised grip angle compared to the original version. For sling attachment, the grip integrates both a traditional loop for sling swivel systems and a QD socket for quick-detach systems: there is no need to choose at the time of purchase, as both options remain available on the weapon.

Key features

  • The angled geometry reduces wrist and elbow strain during prolonged shooting compared to a classic vertical grip.
  • The fibreglass-reinforced polymer keeps weight at 170 g without sacrificing impact resistance.
  • Compatibility with the 20 mm MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail allows mounting on virtually any rifle or carbine with a RIS.
  • The integrated QD socket and traditional loop support any sling system without additional adapters.
  • The compact profile also suits short handguards, where a full-length vertical grip would be too bulky.
