Vector Optics Frenzy-S 17x21 Gen2 Red Dot — Matte Black

The Frenzy-S 17x21 Gen2 is a compact red dot from Vector Optics designed for pistols, PCC carbines and shotguns where weight and bulk need to be kept to a minimum: at just 23 grams without mount and with a 21 mm window on the long axis, it fits without affecting the balance of the firearm or access to its controls.

The 3 MOA dot covers a target the size of a paperclip at 45 metres, giving precise aiming without obscuring the centre of the target. Parallax is corrected at 45 metres — a distance consistent with defensive use and dynamic shooting — and the aspherical lens reduces chromatic aberration, keeping the image clean to the edges of the window. Adjustment travel is 120 MOA on both axes, with 1 MOA clicks, making zeroing quick and repeatable.

The 7075-T6 alloy construction with matte black finish is rated to withstand recoil up to 1000 G without shifting zero. The CR1632 battery is replaced from the side: there is no need to remove the red dot from the firearm and zero is not lost. The 10 brightness levels — 8 for daylight and 2 compatible with night vision devices — cover any lighting condition, while the motion sensor automatically shuts the optic off when the firearm is stationary, extending battery life to up to 50,000 hours at the lowest setting. Water resistance is rated IPX7.
