FMA MP7 38x220 mm Suppressor with Flash Hider — Black

Decorative metal suppressor for MP7A1 airsoft replicas, with a diameter of 38 mm and a length of 220 mm. The kit includes a threaded flash hider with a 12 mm clockwise (CW) thread, compatible with MP7A1 replicas by Tokyo Marui, Umarex KSC and KWA. It is not compatible with the VFC Umarex GBB MP7A1 replica, which uses a 12 mm counter-clockwise (CCW) thread.

The metal body is designed to house an acoustic foam insert, included in the package along with a spacer spring. On AEG replicas the suppressor does not meaningfully reduce noise, because the sound produced by the piston and gears travels through the gearbox body, not the barrel. On gas-powered (GBB, GBBR) or HPA replicas, the foam insert can partially dampen the report; the actual effect also depends on how well the replica's internal mechanism is dampened. The suppressor can also be used to house a longer inner barrel: in that case it is advisable to centre the barrel inside the body using spacer rings of the correct diameter, so as not to compromise accuracy.
