FMA Side Mount for Torch on 20 mm RIS Rail — Black

Reinforced polymer side mount made by FMA for attaching a tactical torch to a 20 mm RIS rail, positioning it at the eleven o'clock position relative to the bore axis. Compatible with torch bodies between 20 and 25 mm in diameter, covering most current tactical models, including the more common Scout Light series. Left-hand version.

Mounting the torch to the side rather than below the barrel eliminates the shadow cast by the muzzle onto the illuminated target — a common issue with centred front mounts, particularly noticeable at close range. The eleven o'clock angle keeps the beam parallel to the line of sight without interfering with the sights or the optic body, and leaves the lower rail profile free for grips, bipods or other accessories.

The kit includes interchangeable anodised aluminium rings that allow the torch seat to be matched to the exact body diameter. This approach provides compatibility across different diameters, but requires selecting the correct ring at the time of fitting: this is not a universal expansion-clamp system, so it is worth checking your torch diameter before installation. The overall weight of the mount is 115 g, which is moderate compared to equivalent solid-aluminium mounts.
