FMA

Kydex pouch for two double-stack pistol magazines, designed by FMA for fast lateral carry in practical shooting, training and operational use. Each of the two slots measures 32x22 mm, giving the pouch an overall footprint of 113x106 mm and a weight of 95 g.

Retention relies entirely on kydex friction: no velcro, no snap. This allows single-handed, silent magazine extraction and reinsertion, but passive security is lower than a lever or button system. Shooters who prioritise draw speed over protection against accidental loss will find this a good fit; those who operate in situations where a magazine must never move without a deliberate choice should consider an active-retention system. Retention is adjustable via a screw to suit the specific thickness of the magazine, covering geometries including Glock, CZ-75, Beretta, SIG and Hi-Capa among other double-stack formats.

The pouch attaches to the belt via a Cobra-style paddle that grips the belt edge securely and allows fast on and off without stripping the rest of the kit. The symmetrical geometry supports both right- and left-side carry with no modifications.

Key points

  • Screw-adjustable kydex friction retention allows a fast one-handed draw and accommodates magazines of different widths without additional accessories.
  • The Cobra-style paddle clips and unclips from the belt in seconds, useful when switching configurations between different shooting sessions.
  • The symmetrical geometry allows right- or left-side carry without any structural modification, removing the need to buy separate versions.
  • At 95 g, the pouch adds little to load distribution even with both slots filled.
  • The absence of active retention is a deliberate trade-off: it gains draw speed at the cost of passive security under heavy physical stress.
