The dual attachment system — MOLLE/PALS and belt mount — lets you move it between a plate carrier or chest rig and a belt without tools, adjusting the setup to the day's task. The automatic retention locks the magazine on insertion and releases it with a single upward draw: more secure than a basic open-top elastic pouch, but it does require a slightly more deliberate motion compared to a fully open pouch. It is a deliberate trade-off in favour of retention security, with minimal impact on draw speed once the motion is trained in.
