The Helikon-Tex EDC Med Kit is a compact medical pouch designed for those who want first-aid essentials within reach without carrying a full tactical kit. Smaller than the Mini Med Kit, it attaches easily to belts, waist packs and backpacks, and suits everyday carry, hiking, outdoor activities and light professional use.

The YKK zip ensures fast, reliable access to the contents even with gloves on; inside, two mesh pockets let you separate and identify items at a glance without rummaging. A zip as the primary closure protects against accidental opening and dust ingress — unlike an open-top pouch. The trade-off is that access takes one extra motion compared to velcro or an elastic retainer, but retention is substantially better in dynamic situations.

The elastic front pocket is sized for a pair of latex or nitrile gloves, so you can don them before opening the main compartment — exactly as first-aid protocol requires. A single row of MOLLE/PALS webbing allows direct attachment to plate carriers, chest rigs and compatible waist packs, while the paracord loop lets you clip it to a belt loop or a carabiner when you're not wearing ballistic carriage.
