Eberlestock Rip-Away Medical Small IFAK Pouch — Dry Earth

The Eberlestock Rip-Away Medical Pouch is a small-format IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) designed to mount on MOLLE systems on packs, plate carriers and duty belts, and to be pulled off in a single motion when seconds matter. At 15x12x7.6 cm it is compact enough to stay out of the way of your setup while still holding the essential haemostatic kit.

The two-piece design is the most relevant feature for team use: the MOLLE base stays fixed to the carrier while the pouch rips away with a single pull and can be handed to another person or brought directly to the casualty without stripping any gear. The interior is organised with elastic bands and retention panels that keep equipment in place during movement, preventing items from shifting and slowing access. The top handle lets you carry the pouch once detached without having to tuck it under your arm.

The external VELCRO® panel accepts a red cross patch or any visual identifier the operator chooses. In low-visibility conditions or when personnel from outside the team are involved, that detail can matter. Empty weight of 85 g keeps the impact on overall loadout negligible. Worth noting: the rip-away system gives fast extraction but, like any quick-release solution, it does not offer the same passive retention as a sewn-on or rigidly attached pouch; on rough terrain it is good practice to check periodically that the pouch is properly seated on its base.
