The Double Elastic Insert is a dual elastic pocket insert designed to carry two full-capacity pistol magazines inside any product from Helikon-Tex's Versatile Insert System range. Retention relies entirely on the elastic band that wraps each pocket: this allows fast one-handed extraction and reinsertion, which works well during range rotations or when time is tight. The trade-off is real and worth understanding: compared to a system with an active retention snap or a closing velcro flap, elastic holds the magazine reliably under normal conditions but offers less security against drops or sudden movement.
