The Face Warrior Neck Gaiter Gen2 by Cygnus Armory is a mouth and chin guard for airsoft that combines an elastic neck gaiter with a rigid metal mesh to protect the teeth. The elastane body wraps around the lower face and neck, while the mesh measures 10 x 6 cm and the whole unit weighs 70 grams.

The mesh is carbon-coated stainless steel: it stops BBs aimed at the mouth without restricting airflow as much as a full face mask. The mesh edge is finished with a suede padding that prevents skin irritation and stops facial hair from catching during movement.

The trade-off to be aware of: the neck gaiter covers the mouth, chin and neck, leaving the nose, cheeks and forehead exposed. Players who already wear a full face mask or an optic with integrated mask will not find this format useful; those who pair ballistic glasses or a half visor with their setup, however, will find this is exactly what they need, as the low profile does not interfere with tactical headsets or affect the cheek weld.
