Carinthia Compression Stuff Sack 28x54 cm

Replacement size L compression stuff sack, compatible with Carinthia three-season sleeping bags and the ECIG series. With a diameter of 28 cm and a length of 54 cm, it accommodates the typical volume of a mid-season sleeping bag and compresses it to roughly half its original length, making packing considerably neater.

Longitudinal compression halves the space the sleeping bag takes up, but it does require that the fill — down or synthetic — be dry before stuffing: prolonged compression while damp causes the insulation to lose some of its loft recovery. This is the standard trade-off with all compression sacks, and it is worth keeping in mind after a night with condensation or rain.

Designed as a direct replacement for Carinthia packaging, it substitutes the original sack without altering the external attachment system on the pack.
