Helikon-Tex Competition Utility Pouch — Olive Green

The Competition Utility Pouch is a multi-purpose pouch with a zippered main compartment, designed as part of the Helikon-Tex Competition MultiGun Rig system and compatible with any MOLLE/PALS platform or belt up to 50 mm wide. It is intended to keep ear protection, ballistic glasses, timers and competition accessories within easy reach during dynamic shooting sessions.

The front loop panel allows patches or hook-and-loop identifiers to be attached, making the pouch customisable without permanent modifications. The Cordura 500D construction offers a practical balance between abrasion resistance and weight: a heavier fabric would last longer under extreme stress, but would add unnecessary weight to a pouch designed for sporting and competitive environments.

The zip closure keeps contents secure during fast movements and weapon transitions, unlike an open-top pouch with elastic retention, which allows quicker access but holds less reliably in dynamic positions. Choosing this solution means prioritising retention security over draw speed — the right call when carrying fragile items such as timers or ballistic glasses.
