The Competition Triple Carbine Insert is a magazine panel designed exclusively to fit the dedicated pocket of the Helikon-Tex Competition MultiGun Rig vest. It holds three standard stick magazines, compatible with AR-15 and AK-47 platforms, and is aimed at dynamic shooters looking for fast reloads in competition or training.

The walls of each individual magazine slot are partially stiffened: this detail noticeably improves the reinsertion of a spent magazine, which tends to slide into place even when the hand comes in at an imprecise angle after a firing sequence. In competition, where every second counts, the difference between a stiffened slot and a fully soft one becomes apparent on the second reload, not the first.

Retention is handled by a transverse elastic band positioned at the mid-point of the slots: it keeps magazines in place during fast movements and transitions, but offers no resistance to a single-motion draw. The trade-off is deliberate: the open top with elastic band allows the fastest possible extraction, at the cost of the additional security provided by a positive retention device. Those seeking maximum speed in competition will accept this exchange; those operating in more physically demanding environments may prefer more positive retention. The body is made from 500D Cordura, an abrasion-resistant, low-weight fabric suited to intensive range use.
