Helikon-Tex Competition Rapid Pistol Pouch — Multicam

The Helikon-Tex Competition Rapid Pistol Pouch is a single pistol magazine pouch designed for dynamic shooting, and a core component of the Competition system. Partially stiffened side walls accept standard pistol magazines, and it mounts directly on MOLLE/PALS systems or belts up to 50 mm wide, with no additional adapters required.

Retention is handled by an elastic cord positioned at the centre of the pouch: it keeps the magazine in place during fast movement and position changes, while still allowing one-handed extraction and reinsertion without actuating any latch. This approach works well in competition, where reload speed matters more than the passive security of a snap retention, but it also means that in a fall or inverted position the magazine is less secure than it would be with a mechanical closure. Competitors running courses with significant physical obstacles should factor this in.

The partially rigid wall does more than hold its shape: it guides the magazine back in during reinsertion without looking at the pouch, reducing reindexing time at the end of a stage. The body is made from 500D Cordura, a technical fabric with high abrasion resistance that holds its shape under load without adding unnecessary weight.
