The Competition Rapid Carbine Pouch is a fast-access rifle magazine pouch designed specifically for dynamic and competition shooting. Compatible with standard carbine and rifle magazines, including AR-15 and AK-47, it attaches to any MOLLE/PALS system or directly to a belt up to 50 mm wide, fitting equally well on a competition chest rig or a duty belt.

The lower section is partially stiffened: this keeps the mouth of the pouch open after the magazine has been drawn, making the re-insertion of a spent magazine a consistent, mechanical motion that holds up under stress and with one hand. Cordura® 500D fabric provides durability through daily training without adding unnecessary weight. Laser-cut PALS webbing on the front panel and sides creates a modular platform that allows additional pouches to be stacked vertically — a practical choice for anyone who wants three or four magazines at a single point on the rig without cluttering the sides.

The bungee cord positioned roughly mid-depth in the pouch is the core design trade-off: it provides enough retention to secure the magazine through hard movements and transitions, while offering no real resistance on the draw, which stays single-handed and takes a fraction of a second. There is no active retention catch, and that is a deliberate choice: extraction speed is maximised, but anyone operating in environments where losing a magazine is a genuine risk should consider whether an active-retention pouch would be a better fit.
