The Competition Pocket Pistol Insert is a replaceable insert designed for the front pocket of the Helikon-Tex Competition MultiGun Rig. It holds two standard pistol magazines in partially stiffened pockets built for dynamic shooting competitors who need to reload quickly during a stage without dropping or deforming their magazines.

Retention is provided by an elastic band positioned across the centre of the pockets. This allows one-handed, single-motion draws and blind reinsertions, but by its nature offers less passive retention than a rigid retention system. It is the right choice when speed of access matters more than passive security under extreme dynamic conditions — for example in competition, where the shooter maintains constant control of body and movement. The partially stiffened Cordura® 500D walls hold the pocket open even when empty, making one-handed reindexing faster and more consistent.

The insert fits into the dedicated pocket of the Competition MultiGun Rig without interfering with the rig's main panel, preserving the original geometry of the setup and adding no unnecessary bulk. The Cordura® 500D construction provides abrasion resistance during demanding competition sessions while keeping the weight of the insert low.
