Helikon-Tex Competition Modular Belt Sleeve

The Competition Modular Belt Sleeve is the second component of the Helikon-Tex Competition Set: an outer sleeve designed to turn any shooting belt up to 45 mm wide into a modular platform with a MOLLE surface, integrated padding, and attachment points for suspenders. It is aimed at dynamic shooters who want to carry a holster, magazine pouches, and accessories on their hip without sacrificing comfort during extended training sessions.

The outer surface is made of Cordura with laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panels, divided into vertical sections that allow the inner belt to pass through to the outside — enabling direct-attach holsters to mount onto the inner belt while the sleeve wraps around it. The two horizontal loops at the bottom of each side accept thigh holsters and drop-leg panels, expanding the configuration without adding bulk. The EVA foam padding eliminates pressure from belt edges and pouch attachments against the hip, even when the sleeve is worn for hours at a time.

The inner mesh lining promotes airflow against clothing and reduces slipping. Four low-profile paracord loops allow connection to a suspender system or harness, distributing load across the shoulders when the weight of the pouches becomes significant. The trade-off to consider is sizing: the sleeve comes in four sizes, from 83.5 cm (S) to 106.5 cm (XL), calibrated to waist circumference with a belt worn over competition clothing. Choosing the right size is critical — the sleeve must sit firmly on the inner belt without sliding laterally during movement: too large and retention is lost; too small and the shooting belt cannot be threaded through.
