Helikon-Tex Competition Med Kit — MultiCam

The Competition Med Kit is a modular medical pouch designed for the range and for anyone carrying a basic first-aid kit on a MOLLE/PALS platform or belt up to 50 mm wide. The two-part construction — outer pouch and removable insert — allows access to the entire kit in a single motion, without having to dig through the pouch.

The inner insert is padded and lined with elastic loops that keep every item in place during movement. The rigid, non-slip pull tab lets you draw the entire insert in seconds even with gloves on: it is built for speed of access, not for leisurely searching. The trade-off to consider is that this pull-out quick-access design does not offer the retention of a closing lid, so the pouch is not ideal in environments where inversions or drops are frequent.

The external shock cord serves two distinct functions: it compresses the pouch when partially loaded to prevent the contents from shifting, or it can secure a tourniquet on the outside for immediate access. The front panel features a loop-velcro surface for ID patches. The fabric is Cordura 500D, resistant to abrasion and to the weight of typical medical load-outs. The pouch is ambidextrous and can be mounted vertically or horizontally depending on the belt configuration.
