The Competition Med Kit is a modular medical pouch designed for range use, built to keep essential first-aid supplies accessible and organised. It mounts on any MOLLE/PALS platform or directly on belts up to 50 mm wide, either vertically or horizontally, and is part of the Helikon-Tex Competition system.

The construction consists of two separate elements: an outer shell in Cordura 500D and a removable insert that houses the entire medical kit. Internal elastic loops hold each item in its designated position, while a rigid anti-slip pull tab lets you draw the entire insert in seconds. This approach speeds up emergency response considerably compared to a traditional fixed-compartment pouch, because you pull out the complete organiser rather than searching inside under pressure.

The external front panel features loop material for identification patches. The external shock cord serves a dual purpose: it compresses the pouch when partially loaded to prevent contents from shifting, or it can retain a tourniquet in an immediately accessible position. This is a trade-off worth considering — a tourniquet carried externally is faster to reach, but it is exposed to impacts and accidental snagging, unlike one stored inside with a dedicated retention system.
