The Competition Carbine Wings Set is a lateral expansion designed specifically for the Helikon-Tex Competition MultiGun Rig: it adds carrying capacity for long rifle magazines to competitors in dynamic multigun shooting without adding bulk to the central system. Each wing holds one standard AR or AK magazine, increasing the ammunition accessible during a stage.

Attachment relies on two combined mechanisms: the velcro on the back of the rig provides a wide, repositionable mounting surface, while the rig's side buckles thread directly through the wings' lateral webbing loops, eliminating movement under load. This is a system built for shooters who cannot afford unwanted shifting when seconds matter.

Magazine retention is handled by a non-slip interior that holds the magazine by friction with no mechanical retention device. This means fast extraction and reinsertion — a real advantage in a multigun match where you reload frequently — but lower passive security compared to a pouch with active closure. Anyone wearing the rig in contexts that involve acrobatic movement or inverted positions should assess whether this level of retention is sufficient.
