The BBC Vent Cap is an adjustable baseball cap in PolyCotton Ripstop designed for use in hot conditions, whether in operational settings or during extended outdoor activity. Its mid-profile depth is compatible with most tactical hearing protection systems and military or law enforcement helmets, without affecting fit.

The PolyCotton Ripstop fabric combines the tear resistance of a ripstop weave with the breathability of cotton, sitting lighter and drier on the head than plain cotton. The rear mesh panel increases airflow across the occipital area, where heat tends to build up most during physical activity. This trade-off — hybrid fabric plus mesh insert — delivers better breathability than a full-fabric cap, but does not reach the ventilation of a full-mesh cap, which in turn offers less structure and less sun protection on the crown.

The front panel features a loop velcro panel for attaching identification or morale patches without permanent stitching. The rear adjustment strap, 8 cm wide and 2.5 cm tall, allows the fit to be tailored to different head circumferences and keeps the cap stable during rapid movement.
