The Stratosphere is an ultra-compact solo bivouac designed for self-sufficient movement where the weight and bulk of a traditional tent are not an option. Packed with stakes compressed into its stuff sack, it measures 31x14 cm and weighs 1,300 g, fitting into any hunting or hiking pack without eating into critical space.

The structure creates a generous headroom area: this is a deliberate trade-off. Compared to a closed mummy-style bivouac, the extra volume lets you move around, retrieve gear and keep your rifle or kit close without feeling sealed in. The trade-off is that lateral protection is lower than a tent with vertical walls: in strong winds and driving rain, shelter orientation becomes part of your camping technique.

The full-coverage No-See-Um insect mesh slides away in one motion and rolls onto the hood when not needed, maintaining ventilation without leaving any gaps. The breathable rear panel reduces condensation build-up on humid nights. The 7 ultralight alloy stakes — six operational and one spare — are included and accounted for in the stated weight.
