The Pyro-5M is a pyrotechnic hand grenade for airsoft, inspired by the RGD-5 and designed for players who want to add a realistic tactical element to airsoft games, speedsoft and military reenactments. The M variant is filled with chalk and talc powder: on detonation it produces an acoustic blast accompanied by a powder cloud that simulates smoke, making the effect clearly visible on the field.

The operating mechanism follows that of a real spoon grenade: the lever safety holds the striker in place as long as the thrower keeps their hand closed. Pull the safety pin, choose your moment and throw — only releasing the lever starts the sequence. The delay before detonation is 4–5 seconds, giving enough time to position it before it goes off. This mechanism also makes it useful for familiarisation training with the actual handling procedure, since it replicates the real movements without requiring dedicated simulators.

The certified IP66 water resistance ensures reliable operation even in heavy rain or after brief contact with water — conditions that come up regularly in outdoor games.
