Magnifier Aim-O 4x35 FDX — TAN

The 4x35 FDX is a fixed-magnification magnifier at 4x with a 35 mm objective, designed to work alongside a red dot or collimator already mounted on the weapon. It adds target resolution at distance without replacing the primary optic: the shooter keeps the fast target acquisition of the red dot at close range and gains detail on more distant targets simply by rotating the magnifier on its flip-to-side mount.

The metal body houses an optical system with a 35 mm front lens that provides a wider image window than most in its class: at a fixed 4x the field of view narrows compared to unaided vision, but the larger objective diameter recovers brightness in low-light conditions. The trade-off inherent to fixed-magnification magnifiers is worth keeping in mind: 4x is an effective choice between roughly 50 and 200 metres, but it cannot be dialled down the way a variable optic can — the only way to return to unmagnified view is to swing the unit laterally on its flip-to-side mount, a quick action that still requires an active movement of the support hand.

The housing profile is kept to 130 mm in length, which limits forward shift of the centre of gravity and aids balance even on platforms with shorter handguards. Compatibility with the 22 mm Picatinny/RIS rail makes it interchangeable across different platforms with no tools beyond the included hex key.
