Adventure Menu Lightweight Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice Ration

Single-serving freeze-dried meal weighing 600 g, featuring curried chicken in tikka masala sauce with basmati rice, produced by Adventure Menu as part of the Lightweight range. Designed for those who take part in airsoft, hiking or extended outdoor activities and want a hot, substantial meal without adding unnecessary weight to their pack.

Preparation follows the Vacuum-Dried / Tasty method: dishes are cooked by chefs using natural ingredients and then freeze-dried at low temperature. The result is a meal that retains flavour and nutritional values comparable to freshly cooked food, rehydrating fully by adding hot water directly into the pouch. If hot water is unavailable, cold water can be used with a longer rehydration time – a useful field option, though it affects the final texture of the rice and sauce.

The Lightweight range is formulated for faster digestion compared to standard rations, making it suitable for situations where activity resumes shortly after eating. The 600 g format covers a complete main meal without needing to combine multiple pouches, simplifying logistics during airsoft games or multi-day hikes.
